The Sirens Call

 The nights are getting longer and the days become cold...

Speckles of snow fall through the air, obscuring the dark, hidden things that wait just outside our vision...

It's wintertime, baby! And what better time to curl up and enjoy some dark fiction?

I present to you... The Sirens Call, a free magazine with dozens of stories that are strange, unnerving, and altogether perfect for the winter season.

My nasty little number is called "Dinner with Mama." Zombies are involved, and it's actually more heartwarming than you'd think. I wrote this a while back, and it was included in a horror anthology that has since gone out of print. I've always loved this twisted little tale, so I'm happy that it's found its permanent home with the sirens.

That's the beginning of my horror short "Jonesy," a tale of violence and danger told from the point of view of a very peculiar child.

Grandmas Break Easily: Another Traumatizing Life Lesson

Over at Points in Case, I’ve been submitting increasingly tacky articles that may or may not (but most likely may) offend you. I did one on the after-effects of getting robbed, and how it can totally make you racist. I did another one on coping with the death of an acquaintance, which... well. I'll let that one speak for itself.

And now, I have a new article, and it’s all about when old people have jarring physical accidents right in front of their emotionally scarred grandchildren. Everyone’s experienced it, and it’s never not horrifying. Like I said, these articles are quite tacky.

Points in Case, a website that allows me to get away with pretty much anything. I shudder to think what my next article will be.

A New Western Serial Is Riding Your Way

Hey everyone! Big news! My dad has a brand new western mystery coming out through an online publisher called Mysterical-E. It’s a cliffhanger serial released in three parts, and the first part can be found here. It’s a little bit funny, a little bit exciting, and there are plenty of shoot-outs, horse chases, and secret experiments. Plus, it takes place in early Hollywood, so expect a lot of real stars with dangerous secrets.
